About Us Clean Sweep was started in 1981 by Ernie Hostedler. At that time he
was responsible for every facet of the new business. It has grown over the years and has become Clean Sweep Chimney Service,
Inc. It is still a family oriented business with two trucks and 3 full time and 3 part time employees. Colby and Ernie are
the only two CSIA Certified chimney sweeps in Kent and Sussex County, Dela. Clean Sweep is family oriented and also community oriented. For the last three years Clean Sweep and Friends
have been gathering Toys for Tots. Each year they have increased what they have gathered to the point that in 2006 they turned
in over 250 toys for children in the Milford community.
